Catalyst Baptist Church has wrapped up another successful Catalyst Winter Warm-Up campaign, collecting more than 270 winter coats along with 65 blankets to support people experiencing hardship across the Wyndham and Bacchus Marsh communities.

The annual community initiative encourages residents to donate quality winter items that can be distributed to individuals and families facing a difficult winter season. This year's response was another strong display of local generosity, with donations coming from across Catalyst's Werribee and Bacchus Marsh campuses.

The collected items are now being distributed through a network of local non-profit organisations that work directly with vulnerable individuals and families. In addition, Catalyst is partnering with local public schools to help identify and support students and families who may be struggling to stay warm during the colder months.

"We're incredibly grateful for the generosity of our church and wider community," said Stan Richey, Lead Pastor at Catalyst Baptist Church. "A warm coat or blanket may seem simple, but for many people it can make a significant difference during winter. We're thankful to work alongside local organisations and schools that help ensure these items reach those who need them most."

Winter Warm-Up forms part of the church's ongoing commitment to supporting local communities through practical care and partnership alongside their Catalyst Community Services branch. By working directly with schools, charities, and community organisations, the campaign aims to provide both immediate assistance and a reminder that people are seen and supported.
